In-stock Items
Most in-stock items will be shipped out the same business day for orders received before 2pm. The only exception to this is certain bulky items stored in our second warehouse, which can result in the order shipping the following day.
To-order Items
Orders go into our suppliers daily. Lead times on "to-order" items can vary from 1-2 days to several weeks depending on the products and suppliers. We'll be in touch to advise on the specifics of your order as soon as we receive confirmation from the suppliers.
Shipping Policies
We use courier companies (DPD and UPS) to deliver your orders. No orders are sent by regular post.
- Availability: To successfully and promptly deliver an order, customers must be available to receive and sign for the delivery. Couriers cannot leave a package unattended.
- Work Addresses: We advise customers who are at work daily to have orders delivered to a place of work. Please note deliveries to work addresses are often signed for at goods-in, post rooms, or reception areas, not directly to you.
- Delivery Times: We cannot request specific delivery times; it may be any time during a business day.
- DPD Ireland: For deliveries in Ireland, we use DPD’s text and email service, providing a short delivery window on the morning of delivery.
- Missed Deliveries: If you are not home, the courier will leave a calling card. You must contact them to arrange a second delivery. If no contact is made within 7 days, the package returns to HifiHut. A second delivery attempt will incur a charge.
- VAT & EU: We can ship excluding VAT to any EU country where a valid VAT number is supplied. Please contact us to set up your account.
- Non-EU Orders: Orders outside the EU are sent excluding VAT, but you are liable for all import duties and taxes.
- Processing Cut-off: Orders placed/paid by 2pm (Dublin time) are processed that working day. Deliveries are made on working days only (no weekends or Bank Holidays).

International Delivery
Some products are too heavy or oversized to ship under our standard courier rates. Where an order includes such items, we will contact you before dispatch with a tailored shipping quote. Free delivery thresholds and flat-rate international charges do not apply to these items.
Exceptions & Remote Locations
Our standard shipping rates apply to Mainland locations only. The following remote and island locations are excluded from standard shipping and require a bespoke quote:
- UK: Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles, and Scottish Highlands & Islands.
- Europe: Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, Greek Islands, Azores, Madeira, and other remote island territories.

Note on Availability: Please note that delivery times are based on products being in stock. Deliveries often arrive faster than the times advised, but if a product is not in stock or there is an unexpected delay, a member of staff will contact you to advise on lead times.
Some HifiHut products are subject to availability and delays may sometimes occur beyond our control. Any dates specified for delivery are therefore approximate only, but we try our absolute best to be accurate.
Liability: Should a delivery be delayed for more than 15 working days, you have the right to refuse to accept the order and receive a full refund. At the time of delivery, you are required to sign for the products. Once signed for, the contents of the order become your sole responsibility.
