Dual-Mono DAC Architecture
The CD25 is Arcam's first CD player to use a dual-mono DAC design, with two independent ESS ES9039Q2M DAC chips supported by ESS reference voltage regulators. Each chip independently processes one channel in balanced mode, delivering superior channel separation, lower noise and a more precise, spacious stereo image.
Precision Disc Replay
A low-noise linear power supply provides a stable, ultra-quiet electrical foundation, while the disc mechanism is mounted on an internal vibration-damping chassis for stable, accurate signal retrieval. Minimising mechanical interference improves timing accuracy, clarity and musical coherence throughout.
Flexible Connectivity
Balanced XLR analogue outputs make the CD25 a natural partner for the Arcam A50 Signature and SA45, while RCA outputs connect seamlessly to the A25+ and SA35. Digital outputs (optical and coaxial) allow use with an external DAC. The CD25 also supports data discs containing WAV, FLAC, MP3 and AAC files.
