The Musical Fidelity B1xi channels decades of amplifier design expertise into a versatile, high-performance package. Delivering 100W per channel into 4 ohms via refined Class A/B circuitry, it produces rich, dynamic sound that remains composed under demanding conditions. With an onboard MM phono stage, coaxial and optical digital inputs, ARC support, Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, and three RCA line inputs, the B1xi is built to serve as the centrepiece of a modern hi-fi system without compromise.
Amplification
The Class A/B amplifier section delivers 60W into 8Ω and 100W into 4Ω, with peak capability of 140W into 2Ω. THD+N is kept below 0.02% across the audio band, while an 8A peak current capability and damping factor of 30 ensure confident control of even difficult loudspeaker loads.
Connectivity
Three RCA line inputs are complemented by an MM phono stage (42dB gain, RIAA ±1dB), plus optical and coaxial digital inputs accepting up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution with ARC support. Bluetooth 5.1 handles wireless streaming. A variable RCA pre-output supports adding a subwoofer or bi-amping your speakers, and a 5V USB-C port powers an external streamer.
